I just heard about this and wanted to get the word out:

“This legislation clarifies unequivocally that only doctors and acupuncturists can practice acupuncture or use filiform needles for therapeutic purposes in Illinois.

Please call BOTH your Illinois house representative and state senator TODAY!

Tell him/her:

“I live (or work) in your district and would like your support for HB 1344, which  is a common sense bill and simply states that only doctors and licensed acupuncturists can perform acupuncture.  HB 1344 has the support of the Illinois Medical Society and the acupuncture community.  May I count on your support?   Thank you.”
