Acupuncture Volunteers In Nepal Make a Difference In Thousand’s Of Lives.

Have you heard of the Acupuncture Relief Project in Nepal ? It is worth knowing about. In 2008, this international community acupuncture group first sent acupuncturists with over 500 pounds of supplies to their clinic in Chapaguan, Nepal. Since than, thousands of patients have been helped by the Acupuncture Relief Project. The clinic provided health care and produced dramatic results, especially in the areas of pain relief, paralysis and gastrointestinal disorders.

Right now the 2010 team of eight volunteer acupuncturists is in Nepal providing hundreds of treatments and medical support to the people of this region. By the end of their stay in March 2011 the team hopes to have completed 6000 acupuncture and herbal treatments.

This is a great cause and a small tax deductible contribution makes a big difference. Only $10.00 provides for treatment for 10 people. To make a donation or learn more about the Acupuncture Relief Project click here.
