Olympic Medalist Says ‘Adventures in Chinese Medicine’ is “Awesome”

A few weeks ago I was truly thrilled and touched to see this photo of Olympic bronze medal winner Dee Dee Trotter with MY BOOK! DeeDee posted it to instagram and twitter and she sent me a kind message saying the book was “awesome”!

I first wrote about DeeDee during the 2012 Olympics when I read that her hometown acupuncturist accompanied her to the London Games, she won the bronze medal for the 400 meter run.

This amazing athlete is a huge advocate for acupuncture and she even took time out during the Olympics to tweet her support, check it out –

@tcm007 you’re welcome! Just finished a treatment now and feeling great!”

When I asked her why she decided to try acupuncture, she wrote “@tcm007 I was dealing with a lot of unanswerable muscular issues and my coach at the time told me he met Bret Moldenhauer a #godsend”

Thank you DeeDee for the photo and your continued support of Traditional Chinese Medicine!!

  1. I just finished reading this book. I find it very interesting for those who are passionate about alternative medicine, and for those who are simply curious to know the techniques of non-invasive healing practices.
