Introducing Celluma: LED Therapy That Treats Acne, Wrinkles and Pain

Celluma is effective for both acne and wrinkles when placed over the face.

I’m very excited to offer treatments using Celluma, an FDA approved medical device that uses low-level light therapy for pain relief, acne and wrinkles.

*A price list is included at the bottom of this post.

Celluma Is Cleared By The FDA For The Treatments Of:
Wrinkles
Acne
Diminished Local Blood Circulation
Muscle and Joint Stiffness
Muscle Tissue Tension
Muscle and Joint PainMuscle Spasm
Arthritis
Celluma is also CE-Certified for Dermal Wound Healing.

Celluma is safe, painless and effective. The design is flexible enough to conform to all areas of your body.

How Does Celluma Work?

The technology embedded in Celluma was developed by NASA. Light Emitting Diode (LED) therapy is the application of light energy to tissue in order to obtain therapeutic benefits. The energy is used to improve cellular performance.

Light therapy is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and has a variety of applications across many medical fields.

Research has shown that light therapy can:
Increase circulation
Accelerate tissue repair
Kill acne bacteria
Decrease inflammation
Improve skin tone and wrinkles as well as texture and clarity.
Ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm and arthritis.

There are three different wavelengths of light; blue, red and near-infrared light. The different light allow treatment of conditions at varying depths, from the surface of the skin to the subcutaneous layer.

The blue light kills acne bacteria; slows breakouts and helps speed the healing of old pimples. The discolorations left from old acne disappear faster using the light, restoring your skin’s healthy appearance.

The red light diminishes wrinkles by plumping skin through renewed collagen and elastin production. This reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and improves skin resilience and firmness.

The pain relief program works by allowing deeply penetrating near-infrared wavelengths which reduces inflammation and improves circulation. It also helps increase mitochondrial function and ATP production, which encourages compromised cells to function optimally.

This results in reduced stiffness and fewer muscle spasms. Whether your pain is from injury or arthritis, your body heals faster because your circulation is increased and cells are repaired.

Celluma can be used on all areas of the body for effective pain relief.

For best results, it is recommended that you have treatments 2-3 times a week for 30 minutes, for 4-10 weeks. Protocols vary based on your particular condition.

You Should Not Use Celluma If:
You are pregnant or breast feeding
You have a seizure disorder
You use medications that cause photo sensitivity
You are taking a corticosteroid

Celluma Complements Chinese Medicine

Just as Chinese Medicine therapies such as acupuncture, herbal remedies, cupping and moxibustion encourage the body to heal itself, the light diodes (LED) in Celluma have the power to trigger skin and human tissue to repair itself.

In my office, I will be offering Celluma treatments as an addition to a regular acupuncture treatment as well as a stand alone therapy.
